The entrance fee for Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins is 132 Mexican pesos and they only accept the payment in pesos. (No U.S Dollars). They have money exchange office in Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins but the conversion rates are really low comparing to near by city downtown rates. It is a better idea to convert the money in Cancun or Playa Del Carmen or Tulum where you can get the most value for your dollar.
